Finally, the Apple store is making its debut in India at Croma. According to sources, the stores would be in line with the global design. These stores are assumed to showcase the entire range of Apple products and offer a spectacular experience to the consumers.
There would be five apple stores at Croma in Mumbai. The locations in Mumbai are: Oberoi Mall, Malad, Ghatkopar, Juhu and Phoenix Mall. It would also set up in Jayanagar, Bengaluru.
These stores are expected to be opened by next month, i.e. by Diwali.
India is certainly opening ways for big brands. The inauguration of Maserati showroom also gained huge acclaim in India.
The design, fixtures, furniture and lighting will all be the same, like that in the global Apple stores. Further, it is said that the sales staff would be trained accordingly.
Apple sells its products through supreme grade resellers under the franchise model. Further, they are also available at multi-brand mobile retail chains.
It is said that due to the mandatory local-sourcing norms, Apple could not set up its own stores in India. But, partnering with Croma, the company gets the opportunity to provide superior customer experience without having to jump bureaucratic hoops.

Between October 2014 and September 2015, almost 1.7 million iPhones were sold in India. As 16 October is the ‘the’ day for the release of iPhone 6s and 6s plus in India, it would be exciting to see the sales graph of these new iPhones.
