From December 2, 2015, every passenger would have the opportunity to fly direct to San Francisco from Delhi by Air India. A trivia contest has been released by the San Francisco International Airport that requires the participants to answer five questions related to the new service and about Air India.

The contest is named as #NonstopAirIndia. According to reports, the participants may win round-trip tickets to New Delhi. The tickets might be of the economy class.

Air India is also offering 25% discount for female passengers till 31st of December.

Thus, Air India is definitely offering something valuable to its passengers.

As of now, it is estimated that services might be applicable or launched for 3 flights in a week, i.e. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

When Narendra Modi was on his visit to the Silicon Valley in September; he made announcement regarding this.

This new service would be the first ever service for non-stop flights from US (San Francisco) to India (New Delhi). Almost 39 international destinations have been offered the non-stop flights by San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

The largest airport in San Francisco Bay Area connects with 77 different cities in the United States.
