After Airtel, this is the time for Vodafone IN customers to enjoy 4G services, as the launch of Vodafone 4G services have been declared recently in Kochi.
According to reports, the services would commence (commercially) from 14th of December. According to the company, it started from Kerala due to the strategic importance.
Kerala witnessed 80% growth in data consumption and 65% growth in smartphone. As per reports, more than 700 crore have been invested in Kerala for modernization and network expansion. This was done to ensure an energy-efficient network architecture.
The company has joined hands with Hungama Digital with a view to provide unlimited movie content access for nearly three months. This would be available for its 4G users.
It is said that the tariffs would begin from `29 for 120MB pack. Further, the largest pack would be 20GB/month for `2,499.
In Kerala, Vodafone will be the first company to offer 2G, 3G and 4G services. With this service launch, the company stands as the second telecom provider offering 4G services in India.
